On the morning of February 10th 1984, men from one tribe of the two major tribes north of Kenya were rounded up and driven in lorries to a newly constructed airstrip at a village called Wagalla. Here, they were forced to strip naked and endure burning hot days in the February sun without food or water; all the while enduring beatings, bayonette stabs and petrol burns.When the surviving men made a break for it four days later, the surrounding army soldiers opened fire on them killings scores.
